20 years of electrical expertise, now focused on clean energy
Premier Electrical Renewables was founded by James Gascoigne, a time-served electrician with over 20 years of experience in electrical contracting across Yorkshire. What began as a traditional electrical business evolved when James recognised the growing need for reliable, high-quality renewable energy installations in the region.
Based in Hemsworth, West Yorkshire, we are proud to be a family-run business that puts genuine care into every project. James built this company on principles he learned throughout his career: do the job properly, treat customers with respect, and never compromise on quality.
Yorkshire homeowners deserved better when it came to renewable energy. Too many companies offered substandard installations, unclear pricing, and poor aftercare. Premier Electrical Renewables was created to change that.

With over 20 years of experience in electrical contracting, James is a fully qualified electrician and the driving force behind Premier Electrical Renewables. He holds NICEIC approval and Tesla certification, and personally oversees every installation to ensure it meets his exacting standards.
James founded the company with a simple mission: to provide Yorkshire homeowners with renewable energy installations they can rely on for years to come. When he is not on site, James stays up to date with the latest developments in solar technology and battery storage to ensure his customers always receive the best solutions available.
