About the Andersen EV A2 Lite
The Andersen A2 Lite brings the signature Andersen design language — hidden cable storage and a clean, hand-finished cabinet — into a more accessible price bracket. The A2 Lite uses the same chassis and concealed-cable mechanism as the flagship A2 but ships with a streamlined fascia range (four colours: Pearl White, Slate Grey, Pebble, Graphite), Konnect connectivity rather than the full Konnect+ 4G package, and a slightly simplified internal feature set. For customers who want the Andersen aesthetic without the bespoke wood veneers and 4G connectivity, the A2 Lite delivers the same standout kerb appeal at a price that competes directly with mainstream smart chargers.

Signature Hidden Cable Storage
The A2 Lite shares the defining design feature of the flagship A2 — every cable, tail and plug stores inside the cabinet when not in use. Same kerb-appeal advantage at a more accessible price.
Four Architectural Finishes
Pearl White, Slate Grey, Pebble and Graphite — four powder-coated metal fascias designed to suit the most common UK home exteriors. Fascia is user-swappable if you redecorate later.
Konnect Cloud Platform
WiFi-based Konnect connectivity handles smart scheduling, tariff integration, energy reporting and over-the-air firmware updates from the iOS/Android app.
Solar Integration Available
Add an optional CT clamp at install time and the A2 Lite will divert surplus solar generation into your EV automatically — giving you free miles from your panels with the same intelligence as the full A2.

As Andersen Approved Installers, we recommend the A2 Lite to customers who want a charger that visibly upgrades the front of their home but don't need the wood-veneer fascia options or 4G fallback connectivity of the flagship A2. For most domestic installs on a reliable home WiFi network, the Lite is functionally indistinguishable from the full A2 — same hidden cable storage, same smart scheduling, same solar integration via CT clamp, same UK manufacturing. At around £400 less installed, it's our default Andersen recommendation for newer-build homes and for customers replacing an existing dated charger.
